The biggest gripe that I have with this phone is with the voicemail service. When you dial into voicemail, the screen stays active with the dialpad visible until you type in your passcode. Fine. Then the screen blanks. The timing for the screenblanking varies, and I have not figured out what you can do to alter it. It has actually flashed on and off during the call. When the screen is blank during the voicemail call there is no way to re-activate to bring it back. None of the buttons work (except hang-up and home) and the touch screen is unresponsive. So it is impossible to delete your voicemail. The Verizon voicemail has this interesting quirk in that if you do not delete the voicemail, when you hang up it still thinks you have new mail and alerts you accordingly until you can delete it. With this phone I have to dial in three times on average to voicemail before I can successfully delete the new messages. This is a major frustration, and really eclipses all of the mis-entered numbers on the touch screen. And in voicemail, or any other remote app, a misdialed number cannot be cleared and re-entered. You might as well hang up and start over again.

I complained to tech support and they are sending a new phone. however, I will probably be exchanging this for something else. Any suggestions?

I agree. This phone sucks. I've had it for not even a week and it's already a pain to use alot. It freezes and starts up by itself all the time.

[...] Motorola Krave - Review and Teardown … the quick music sideloading noted earlier.
